Siskin Forest Trails

Kw'as Park Trails

KwasParkTrailMapKw'as Park Trail Map - Kw'as Park is a series of trails in the forest.  There are 2 entries to the park.  One entry from Seaford Rd., close to Cortes Island Motel.  Another entry from Kw'as Park Road, at beaver pond (Bartholomew Rd, Hague Road, Kw'as Park Road).  There are a few view points, there is access to the lake, that allows for a swim (Swim Rock).  Some parts are steep and more difficult.  From that park, there is also a trail to Easter Bluff, that may take you 1-2 hours.  Numbers on trail give you approximate walk time.

Carrington Bay Guide Map - Carrington Bay Park is a marine park, with water access only.  You can get to Carrington Lagoon thru a series of trails starting from Carrington Bay Road.  See FOCI trail map.

Hank's Beach Guide Map

Hank's Beach Guide Map - Hank's Beach trails are comfortable for walking, good for biking.  There is a nice beach suitable for swimming.  Part of that park is Brigitte Beach, named after Brigitte Grosse, who with her husband Hannes, used to own Loon Farm.  The trails may be visited by wolves, so keep your dog on a leash.  You should keep your dog on a leash in all parks/trails on Cortes Island.
