UPCOMING LUNCH & LEARN
The Cortes Island Business and Tourism Association will be hosting our first Learning Lunch of the 2018 season at the Cortes Natural Food Co-op Café – Tuesday, March 27th from noon to 1:30 pm.
Learning Lunches are monthly presentations and lively conversations with invited guests discussing a full range of topics of interest to Cortes residents. The Learning Lunches are also a great opportunity to meet and network with Cortes locals – individuals, businesses and community organizations.
The featured guest for Tuesday will be Calum Matthews, Community & Industry Specialist from Tourism Vancouver Island as well as representatives from Destination Campbell River. The session will focus on the current and future state of tourism in the region. During the lunch, we will also be profiling local Cortes businesses and non-profit organizations doing great work on our island.
A delicious Co-op Café meal of Soup, Spanakopita, Dessert and Coffee/Tea will be provided during the lunch for only $15.00.
