The Cortes Island Business and Tourism Association (CIBATA) has secured funding to develop a Local Economic Action Plan (LEAP) to foster community economic development on Cortes Island.
The LEAP is a grassroots economic action plan which aims to engage the community in designing an economic strategy for Cortes, and identify economic priorities for the island over the next five years.
CIBATA was formed in 2012 as a not-for-profit organization to initiate holistic community development and economic development for local businesses. CIBATA supports activities and initiatives that promote sustainable business and the island as a whole.
What do you think will ensure Cortes Island has a thriving community and economy in the future? What priorities should we focus on and invest in as a community? Are there trends that concern you? The Cortes Island Business and Tourism Association is currently putting together a Local Economic Action Plan for the island, with support from the Regional District. The survey is a key component, and should take you only 30 minutes to fill out.
Hopefully you will find it fun to do. Any questions? Please check www.cibata.ca or email [email protected]. The survey can be accesses with the following link LEAP SURVEY.
THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME!
