Proposals to Build Visitor’s Kiosk
– Cortes Island Business & Tourism Association (CIBATA) is seeking proposals to build a mobile Visitor’s Kiosk. The ideal candidate must be a journeyman welder with their own mobile welding equipment for the exterior metal framing. Builder must live on Cortes Island, as the kiosk will be constructed at a local site, under the direction of our designer. Deadline to submit a bid by e-mail is March 1 by 6PM. CONTRACT POSITION for PROJECT MANAGER
Cortes Island Business & Tourism Association (CIBATA) is seeking a part-time Project Manager to handle upcoming initiatives during 2016/17.
The ideal candidate:
· Must live on Cortes Island
· has experience in business and tourism industries
· has good research skills and excellent report writing skills
· is self-motivated
· is able to co-ordinate sub trades with attention to detail for planning of tasks & project time-lines
· is experienced at managing budgets and analyzing data
· has the ability to facilitate public meetings and assist with strategic planning and visioning sessions
· can attend monthly meetings with regular reporting to CIBATA’s Directors
· must have their own office equipped with computer, printer, scanner, e-mail, internet, and phone
