At the Cortes Natural Food Co-op, we have a mission to provide high-quality wholesome food while supporting local production and environmental responsibility. We bring the island’s farmers, fishers, and foodies straight to your table!
The store provides fresh, local, & organic produce; local & organic eggs, dairy, cheeses, & alternatives; local fish; local meat; bulk foods; local crafts & gifts; supplements & body care products; snacks & treats.
The cafe provides fresh bread & baked goods, breakfast & lunch, locally-roasted organic coffee & espresso drinks; beer & cider; and gluten-free & vegetarian options along with WiFi, evening events, and outside seating.

Squirrel Cove General Store & Groceries
The Squirrel Cove General Store is an old-fashioned general store with a beautiful view of Desolation Sound. The Squirrel Cove General Store sells food (including: fresh fruit and vegetables; fresh meat and poultry; local seafood; dairy; baking; canned, dried, and frozen products; ice cream; novelties; and ice), hardware (for building, plumbing, electrical, and marine), fuel (propane, vehicle gas, and diesel), and fishing/shellfish licenses.
The Squirrel Cove General Store also features a post office; an ATM; computer, printer, and WiFi access; and a government liquor agency. Also on the property are The Cove Restaurant, the Flying Squirrel Take-out, the Cortes Co-op Craft Store, and 24/7 laundromat and shower facilities. Adjacent to the property is a Government Dock.
Each Sunday in July and August, the Squirrel Cove Commons hosts a Farmers/Craft/Flea Market, where local craftspeople, bakers, and farmers sell their wares.

Cortes Market
The Cortes Market is located at 809 Sutil Point Road in downtown Manson’s Landing (across from the Community Hall). The Cortes Market sells groceries and fresh produce, canned and dry goods, ice, hardware, video rentals, and more! The Cortes Market is also a liquor agency and features computer, printer, and WiFi access. A deli and coffee bar inside the Market offers sausage rolls, quiche, and other baked treats, as well as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos. The Cortes Market offers bulk buying and case lot specials and publishes the Friday MARKETER newsletter every week. Adjacent to the Cortes Market is the Market Take-out, open during the summer.

Gorge Harbour General Store
The General Store at Gorge Harbour Marina is a full-service grocery store. It offers a wide selection of fresh and dry goods with an emphasis on organic and local products. In the summer, the General Store at the Gorge offers a wide range of locally grown produce from right here on Cortes Island. Their morning baker is busy creating fresh bread and other creations every day.
Fresh free run meat and dairy arrive 3 times a week. The store also stocks a variety of unique and ethnic ingredients; a wide selection of wines, beers and spirits; basic hardware; souvenirs; fuel; propane; fishing tackle and fishing licenses; and block and cubed ice.
Each Saturday throughout the summer, the Gorge Harbour Marina hosts a Farmers Market near its gazebo. This Market features local arts, crafts, baked goods, and more!
