There will be Door Prizes! and then the Raffle Draw takes place at 12 noon

This is an annual event organized on an Easter Sunday, as a fundraiser for Cortes Island Firefighters.

Seafest

SEAFEST is an annual event, usually held on Cortes Island on the Saturday of May long weekend.

SEAFEST features BBQ and raw oysters, steamed mussels and clams, and more! Live music and local crafts will entertain you throughout the whole day.

A free shuttle from the ferry to the festival site and back is provided.

Music starts at 11 a.m., serving begins at 11:30 a.m., and continues until approximately 4:00 p.m.

Seafest is a celebration of island life.  The enduring joy that results from good friends who spend time together in community, making and enjoying good food is a rare treasure.

Cortes Day

Cortes Day is usually held on the third Saturday of July at Smelt Bay Provincial Park.

Cortes Day is a complete celebration of Cortes Island starting with breakfast and followed by a parade! The day is filled with activities for children and adults, such as the cakewalk, chicken run and the famous Nail, Sail and Bail race. For more information, visit the SCCA website.

Sandcastle Day is usually held annually at Smelt Bay Provincial Park.  The date is chosen based on the lowest tide in August.

Hot dogs and drinks are available for purchase. Cash prizes for best castles. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. at Smelt Bay.
